Hyde Energy’s trading business has grown from a foundation built on extensive practical knowledge of global petroleum-producing regions, especially those in West and Central Africa. From that base in crude oil, we have expanded our trading portfolio to include refined petroleum products, gas, bitumen and dry bulk commodities. Similarly, we have grown the geographical scope of our activities, and now trade from offices in Lagos, Abuja, Mauritius, London and Malta.
Excellence is the foundation of everything we do. Our traders have worked at the highest levels, gaining extensive experience in the world’s major business hubs. Our Trading, Finance and Operations teams have the expertise to structure transactions involving the storage, blending and movement of products, anywhere and at any time. Above all, you will find Hyde Energy to be a good and dependable business partner. Our promise is to honour agreements and deliver the right specification of product, in the right quantities, to the agreed schedule, at competitive prices. This is why Hyde Energy continues to grow, and our trading activities evolve and diversify.
Chief Finance Officer
As a company established in 2012, following the growing liberalisation of Nigeria's oil and gas industry, our main focus is the trading and marketing of oil, refined petroleum products, gas and dry bulk commodities in African and global markets. We are also active in the sourcing and supply of metals and metal ores for global industrial customers. Founded on deep practical knowledge of the African and Gulf of Guinea petroleum production market, Hyde Energy is a global oil and commodities trading company focused on service excellence, competitive pricing and rigorous governance.
As a physical and financial trading company, we provide the services that balance supply and demand for crude oil, refined petroleum products, gas and dry bulk commodities. To complement our trading, we are expanding our asset base in upstream production and midstream strategic oil storage and logistics capabilities. Hyde has strong links in the freight charter market for ocean-going vessels. In Nigeria, we have established a network of branded petroleum retail stations and launched a range of Hyde Energy lubricants. Each element of our business integrates and adds value to the activities of the business as a whole.
Supported by established relationships with international and local financial institutions, Hyde Energy is well-positioned to leverage local and regional knowledge in structuring supply solutions to world demand and local markets. Staffed by a dedicated team of highly experienced professionals, we have proven capabilities in every facet of the global energy and commodities business.
